Not only you're missing the Mad Dog. Back in the days of MW4, i've piloted it with two ER-PPCs ; two LRM-20s and full electronics. Was well known for that in the league unit of my late husband. oh well, those days.... *dreaming*

Geez. You were a long range beast. I never got into MW4. I remember resenting it coming out so soon after MW3. MW4 was also too intense for my PC at the time. I own it now, but I've never figured out how to solve compatibility issues with Windows 7.

For what it's worth, the MekTek version of Mercs runs fine on Windows 7 for me using XP Compatability Mode - haven't reinstalled my old copy of vanilla MW4 to see if that helps there.

I haven't had any problem with being a Woman in the world of Battletech, it just means that there WILL be some severe negotiations every 28 days or the Mech I'm riding in will suddenly go on a rampage.
*burst into tears* Nooooooooo!!!...

Let's hear it for high expectations!
Of course, she looks short, so there's less round trip time for signals from brain to hands on controls. And female, so her reaction time is just that much faster.
And wears glasses, so probably reads a lot. So she'll study up on the very simple MWO system.
Also being female, she has a 95% chance of seeing color better than you. So she'll spot hidden mechs faster. As well as distinguish them quicker in crappy weather on the maps.
Judging by the smile and the way she leans into you while clutching her clothes, she's shy, and probably more a stay at home and play video games type than a jock type.
She is SO going to kick your tail back to the dropship.
holy hell ya got her just about rite but ya forgot iv been playing video games since i was six years old. the oldest games i remember playin was battle tank for N 64 and starfox N 64 since then iv been in love with armored combat games. my hand eye coordination and history make up for the lack of twitchness and eye sight also shes a recent turned gamer so this is all new to her hence my high expectations of the community to be nice at first. other wise expect friend ship missles of love to fly at you. ( knife fighting catipult is me act like i have arrow 4 missles i do........ but its a lie >)

My main focus is more in RPG than computer gaming - you never have to upgrade a block of paper and a pen every six to twelve months to play - even more since the birth of our daughter (she's getting three this december).
Back in the mid to late 90s about 95-96, my late husband, a couple of girlfriends and some of there boyfriends formed an house chapter unit of the Federated Suns, the 1st Kestrel Grenadiers. We started with about ten girls and two boys and played mainly table top BT and RPG. Later we started with MW2 and MW3 but realy boom started with MW4. After 1999 to 2000 most of us left school seccuessful, most for job training but some for study, and thats the time we only managed to meet on weekends. The first couples married, some moved to other cities or regions and till MW4 Mercs it was very sleepy. Than for a short couple of month all was revived. We played each weekend on the net and biweekly in an home round. But that hold not for long. Now we all are in our jobs, most are married and half the unit now needs a babysitter while meeting for an day of games. I've not found a good job after i've completed my job training seccuessful, so i went to the army. First for four years, than for another four and now i am in the ninth of twelve years signed. Tours to the Balkans and Afghanistan not realy helped in holding the unit together, but we've managed to meet all two to three months now and we're still playing good.
BTW: never had problems with MW4 and addons because long time played on Windows NT / 2000 systems due to my civilian job as electronics technician specialist for industrial engineering (fields are sensor technology and fault location). We still have a laptop with Windows 2000 and Advanced Server for the job. While my husband is electronics technician specialist too, but for automation, we need one system running for programming and cheaking older industrial PLCs.

Allows you to plug any hard drive into an USB port. If the drive is still good, this will allow you to read it.

I don't believe in gender-stereotypes, physically a woman may not compete in the NFL and because of muscle mass differences are generally slower in races. But when it comes to intelligence, hand-eye coordination or reflexes I don't see any differences. Heck, women can tolerate greater amounts of pain and due to generally being more in touch with themselves deal with emotional trauma better as well.
Be you man or woman, all I care is "can you kick butt?"
